It's a lazy day in the neigborhood...

Today Auntie Becky and I lounged in the morning and acted silly.

Then we walked over to our friends' house (Andrew and Olivia!). Andrew's a big boy and he let me play with lots of his toys. Thanks, Andrew!

And then Olivia was just sitting there like she's a baby or something...so I did some of the yard work.

I rewarded myself with a ride in her swing. It's been my most favorite swing to date! It's really like a car seat on strings...and boy, do I love my car seat!

Finally, I did a little cooking. As you can see, I'm not very good at it. I wear pants on my head and roll around on the floor. But I'm pretty cute while I do it, right?

Catching up on my classes

I may be on vacation, but that doesn't mean we get dumber in the summer! So, first up is Phys. Ed. "Mommy, will you take me and Bebe for a walk?"

So, she did and Prince, too...and it was a little crazy.

Next up was reading. Mimi taught that class. And all 3 of us were perfect students!

Finally, I had to do my math. I'm good at math. Must be in my genes.

My Papa...

"Papa, will you read this book to me?"

"You will! Okay...give me a big, wet kiss!"

Oh, the weather in DeKalb is frightful!

Mommy is always making fun of Mimi and Papa for being obsessed with the weather. She won't do that again! Let me tell you about today! You won't believe it! First I got up and played a little piano. No big deal.

The weather was quite lovely so we headed out to the playground. Mimi pushed me on the swing and I climbed all over.Then this pink car rolled up. I tried to get into it but the door was locked. So, I just checked myself out in the mirror.

Then we went home. And that's when things got crazy. All of a sudden this siren sounded and Papa gathered us all up and took me, Auntie Becky, her friend Alina, Bebe, Prince, and Mommy down to the basement! There was a tornado warning! So we all got comfy down there together.

"Don't worry Bebe. I won't let anything happen to you!"

Goldilocks Visits Dekalb

Today we did a bunch of exploring. First I went geocaching with Daddy before he headed off to get some brainwashing...I mean training at Apple.

Then we went to the Ellwood House for some ice cream and house hunting. Here I am posing in front of a big house with Mimi and Papa.

"Mommy, let's find something a bit more my size!"

"Wow, this is just right!"

And then I drove home.

My Summer Vacation!

Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Becky and I got on ANOTHER plane and when we landed were drove to Mimi and Papa's house!!! Mommy says we are staying for TWO WEEKS! I can't imagine all the fun we're going to have!!! And it started right away...off to Mimi's pool we went.I was pretty tentative at first...but I tried out the splash park and relaxed in a beach chair.

When we got home I gave Prince a treat. But not Bebe because she bites my little fingers.

Lunchin' with Uncle Tommy

Today we met up with Uncle Tommy for lunch. He's funny. I like him.

Pool Party and Pizza!

As per usual, the parents had another fun-filled day planned! Daddy was doing work outside this morning so I got hang out with him on the deck. And we found some froggies! Here I am checking one out!

After playing outside for while it was nap time and when I woke up there were 12 friends at my house. Yes, 12 friends and that doesn't include the mommies!!! I guess my mommy invited them all over for a book party/playdate! So we set up some pools and my water table and craziness ensued.

To be quite honest, I was kind of grumpy when all those people were at my house playing with my stuff. But as the afternoon quieted down, I enjoyed a cool beverage with Wiley.

And then I really had some fun times splashing in the pool all by myself!

I took another LONG nap and then I got to have my first slice of pizza for dinner! YUMMY! I could really get used to this whole summer thing.

Naked at Nanny's!

We had dinner at Nanny's tonight with the whole family. Nanny gave me cookies for dessert, so Mommy decided that I was messy and needed a bath. But Nanny doesn't have a tub so I got to take a bath in the kitchen!

Isn't that sooo silly? I had the best time.

And while Nanny, Auntie Maggie, Auntie Marleen, and Mommy chatted it up, I just stayed in the bath...see me in the back? I think I need to take more baths in some new places! Baths truly are my most favorite thing ever!

The Showdown with Tiger

I visited with my neighbors Stacy and Joe today. They have a cat named Tiger. We had a stare down.

I won.
