Mmmm...Pudding

After we left the zooquarium, we had lunch, and then I fell asleep in my car seat and somehow ended up in my stroller.
When I woke up...it was the 15th hole at Pirate's Cove and Mommy was very happy about that. And Uncle Tommy was there and he showed me how to do it.
But I must have done something wrong because they threw me and Auntie Becky in the stocks!
But then they gave me pudding and everything was lovely again.
And I even shared with Uncle Tommy, cause I'm just that kind of girl.

The Zooquarium?

Today we visited this place called the zooquarium. It should be called ghetto-quarium. There were no dolphins, seals, or anything resembling marine life except for some boring fish (and some were dead!). Here I am pointing at one of the living fish.
Oh, I lied...there was a dolphin...this one that cost 25 cents to ride. Lame.
Grampy did show me some cool bees. So that wasn't so bad.
And there were a few cool animals outside...so I'll give them some credit. I chatted up a horse.

And let a deer lick my hand.
But seriously. Do NOT waste your money going there. Try out the Cape Cod Natural History Museum instead!

Hello Cape Cod!

After our big trip to Illinois, Mommy whisked me and Auntie Becky away on a plane to Cape Cod and Grampy and Grammy were there! And then DADDY SHOWED UP!!! He came to visit for two days this month. So, off we went to P-town. I had to stay in my stroller most of the day but in the end we posed for some photos.

Goodbye Dekalb...

and Mimi and Papa. Today was my last day visiting with them. I was pretty sad so I snuggled up with Papa to watch a little TV.I had the best best best time ever. Thanks for all the fun! I will miss all four of you. But I'll see two of you in October!

Driving Miss Felicity

We got in the car and we drove. And then we drove some more. And we saw corn. And soy beans. And more corn. And just when I thought I might die if I saw any more corn...there was an ice cream shop. And I got my own strawberry ice cream cone. And all was good in the world. mmmm...

Who's Walking Who?

Today I walked the dogs...
and the dogs walked me...
and then they pulled me onto the ground...
and that was the last time I walked the dogs.

Silly is me.

After our busy day yesterday, we decided to kick back at home. I dubbed today "The Day of Silliness". Check out my new trick!
The whole gang was silly on the couch.
But Mommy convinced us to smile serious for one shot.

C is also for Chicago!

Today we headed out to Chicago! We took the train in and guess who was waiting for us on the other end? Auntie Carolyn and Craig! That's so silly that they were there, too!
We had lunch and walked to the end of Navy Pier. There was a big anchor.
But an even bigger lake: Lake Michigan! It was certainly the Windy City that day!
I took a nap at the American Girl Store and when I woke up we copped a squat and had a snack at Millenium Park!
Sadly, we had to leave Chicago so we took the train home to DeKalb. What a day!

C is for Cookie!

Mimi decided to teach me and Auntie Becky about baking today. We made cookies. First we beat the batter.
Then we stuck our fingers in and ate it. So yummy!
Then magically the batter became cookies but I wasn't allowed to use the oven. Best cookies ever, Mimi!

Welcome to the Monkey House!

Today, Mimi and Papa took us to their zoo! It was awesome! We saw so many animals: giraffes, polar bears, elephants, monkeys, you name it! Zoo pictures are always so funny because you can either see the animal or me...but usually not both. So I've uploaded a few to give you the idea. Here I am watching the seals.
And here's one of me giving Mommy a head massage in the the monkey house (Katie Beth...you would LOVE the monkey house!)

And check out those Bison!
Auntie Becky and I jump into the pocket of this kangaroo!
And I got to ride a lion (not a Griffin!) with Mimi and Papa at my side. What a fun day! I can't wait to go to the zoo again!
