Labor Day BBQ

After my nap (I'm down to 1 nap a day now, BTW..that's how they do it in the Toddler Room at school!) we packed up and headed on over to Nanny's for the afternoon and evening. Nanny gave me a new pink phone so I made a few calls.

Then I bonded with my cousin Teagan. She is super cool!

Here I am posing for the camera...but what I really want you to see is my Daddy on his laptop in the background. Yeah...that's what he looks like a lot of the time.

Teagan found me some sweet glasses to wear!

And of course, no trip to Nanny would be complete without a bath in the sink! Great times as always!

Goofy Girl!

Mommy gave me a plate on my tray. I figured out a new way to eat! Today might be the last day I get a plate.

So, I'll take my baby for a ride on the dinosaur instead!

I STILL love spaghetti...

That is all.

(Well except that if I keep this up...I'm not sure Mommy will give me spaghetti anymore...its quite messy and it stains everything!)

Partying It Up - Western, MA Style!

First, I went to a BBQ at Nanny's friends house. There were lots of big kids there and they loved playing with me (and I even stopped to smile at the camera!)

Mommy took me swimming in the pool.

and I ran around the big yard...

Then, we went to Wiley's house. And surprise, surprise we got naked and had a fun bath!

And then we got into our pj's and snuggled on the couch with our matching duckies!

And of course, I passed out in the car about 2 minutes from her house. What a fun (but tiring...) day!

A step-by-step guide to hiding in the cabinet

Step One: Sit down on the edge.

Step Two: Scootch back a bit.

Step Three: Wave bye-bye to Mommy

Step Four: Close the door half way

And Step Five: Tuck legs up and close the door all the way.

Now, you will definitely know how to win hide-n-seek every time!

Sometimes...

it's not enough to play with the toy bin. Sometimes we need to sit IN the toy bin.

Lollipops and Loveys

Today Mommy let me lick a lollipop. And I licked it until it was so yucky and wet that Mommy had to take it away from me.

And then I was in a snuggly mood. So I snuggled with Grampy.

And then I snuggled with my two monkeys. Maybe I miss Daddy?

Mmmm...Pudding

After we left the zooquarium, we had lunch, and then I fell asleep in my car seat and somehow ended up in my stroller.

When I woke up...it was the 15th hole at Pirate's Cove and Mommy was very happy about that. And Uncle Tommy was there and he showed me how to do it.

But I must have done something wrong because they threw me and Auntie Becky in the stocks!

But then they gave me pudding and everything was lovely again.

And I even shared with Uncle Tommy, cause I'm just that kind of girl.

The Zooquarium?

Today we visited this place called the zooquarium. It should be called ghetto-quarium. There were no dolphins, seals, or anything resembling marine life except for some boring fish (and some were dead!). Here I am pointing at one of the living fish.

Oh, I lied...there was a dolphin...this one that cost 25 cents to ride. Lame.

Grampy did show me some cool bees. So that wasn't so bad.

And there were a few cool animals outside...so I'll give them some credit. I chatted up a horse.

And let a deer lick my hand.

But seriously. Do NOT waste your money going there. Try out the Cape Cod Natural History Museum instead!

Hello Cape Cod!

After our big trip to Illinois, Mommy whisked me and Auntie Becky away on a plane to Cape Cod and Grampy and Grammy were there! And then DADDY SHOWED UP!!! He came to visit for two days this month. So, off we went to P-town. I had to stay in my stroller most of the day but in the end we posed for some photos.
