What happens at Nanny's house...

Today Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding and I got to spend all day with Nanny. She has this cool water table at her house and I climbed right up on top and sat in it! We had so much fun playing and swimming. Thanks for taking care of me, Nanny! I can't wait until my parents ditch me again so I can make more mischief!

Fighting the Forces of Evil

Today was quite an adventurous day as I donned my sword and shield to fight the bad guys. It was awesome. Sticks are cool. Dangerous, but cool.

Splish, Splash, It's like taking a bath!

Heat Wave: Day Three. Mommy and I met her friend Chrissy and her girls, Lauren and Anna, at a splash park in Westfield, MA today. They live in NY so it was half way between us. We had a picnic lunch and tried out the water. It was in the mid-90's so the cold water barely registered. I was a bit tentative about it at first. Then I started showing some interest.

Before you know it, I was walking around and exploring the whole place (BTW: I pretty much only walk now!).

But then I got a little overzealous and took in a whole face full of water right here.

I was pretty tired by that point so we dried off, got dressed, and packed-up to go home. Chrissy is a fun Mommy like mine is!

And here I am with Lauren. I don't have a picture with Anna...but next time! It was fun to meet you all! Hope we can do it again soon!

"It's Like a Heat Wave..."

So, in case you live under a rock, New England is in the middle of a heat wave. This basically means that I get to go swimming and play with a lot of water. Fine by me! This morning I went for a brief swim in Lake Winnipesaukee, but I was not a huge fan...the water is still a bit too cold this time of year.

But I was perfectly content to sit in the turtle floatie on the dock.

Solomon's cousin Sawyer entertained me with the playing of his weird musical instrument, too.

After we got home, Daddy filled up my pool and I played a bit more. (But then I pooped in my bathing suit and Mommy didn't like cleaning that up.)

Finally, I got to have a freezepop. I was confused for awhile, but then I figured out how to push it up and I made a huge mess. A successful day, I'd say!

And Happy Birthday, Solomon!

So, the birthday celebrations were not over yet. We spent the weekend in NH to celebrate my friend Solomon's First Birthday! We spent the morning playing with his big sister, Linnea, before the big party.

Then I got all dressed in my pretty party dress and guess what? I played in the grass! This is a big step forward for me since I don't really like grass, sand, paint or anything dirty.

Anyway, my most favorite part of the day was the swimming pool! At first the water was cold!

Then I really started enjoying it.

But next time, I need to remember to drink less pool water.

Time for bed!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Phew, what a week! There have been sooo many birthdays this week, but today was the most special of all: My Daddy!!! We gave him some cards and presents to start the day.

Then we took Daddy out to lunch before we drove up to NH for the weekend. I don't have many pictures, but we had a wonderful time. I love you, Daddy! You're my favorite!

Bon Voyage, Uncle Steven!

First Mommy asked me to smile for some pictures with Uncle Steven and Auntie Kristen. So, being the good girl that I am, I did what Mommy asked.

But then she told me that today was the day that they are moving to Oregon and that made me really sad.

I will miss them a lot, but hopefully I'll see them soon!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Steven!

Today was Uncle Steven's 21st Birthday (and his last night on the East Coast) so Mommy, Daddy, and I planned a fun night for him in Harvard Square! First, we took the T into Cambridge. I was little unsure about it but the ride was over before we knew it.

Our first stop was John Harvard's brew pub. Everyone ordered some beer and I got some milk. Mommy thought it would be funny to give me a lime...and Daddy was on the ready with the camera.

"Hey, why don't YOU try it!"

Then I got all comfy in my stroller for the walk around Harvard Square.

We appropriately ended the evening at Finale (on so many levels). Especially since Uncle Steven and Auntie Kristen just got their degrees in Pastry Arts. Anyway, it was all too much fun for me so I passed out while everyone else enjoyed fancy desserts and gourmet martinis and hot chocolate.

Yum. That is all.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Tommy!

This morning was Uncle Tommy's official birthday so Mommy made his favorite breakfast: Chocolate Chip Pancakes! As you can see, Mommy was throwing food. Look at those pancakes fly! Mommy always tells me not to throw food, but what does she think she is doing???

After we ate, I got to climb some stairs with Uncle Tommy...

and ride around on Auntie Kristen's shoulders...

But then we had to say goodbye to Uncle Tommy...I was sad to see him go...

But Uncle Steven cheered my up by playing in my water table with me!

Another fabulous day. Mommy tells me there is more to come!

Lots of Birthdays!

First, I love spaghetti.

Second, Uncle Tommy, Uncle Steven, and Daddy all have birthdays within 4 days of each other, so we celebrated. Everyone came to our house and we played a lot. Uncle Tommy makes me laugh.

I was a happy girl all day.

I even did some ballet on Uncle Tommy's belly.

And we had not one, not two, but THREE cakes!

A fun day was had by all...especially me!
