Today was a big snow day! We woke up to LOTS of snow and smiles from Harry!

At first, I thought it was too chilly out, but then Mommy showed me the new snow pants she bought for me and I was excited to give them a test run out in the snow...

Mommy said that she wasn't feeling ready to shovel snow and since Daddy is on a business trip, I decided to give it a shot!

We capped off a great day by making cookies! Yummy!

Today, we hosted a big Christmas party and there were 13 of us kids (Brandon was missing!). We sat on the couch together for the traditional photo!

Silly Story Time

Today my friend Thomas came over to meet Harry and he brought his baby brother Wes, too. Harry and Wes are only 8 days apart! You know I love me some Thomas!

And then after my short nap (the one day I fall asleep Mommy has to wake me up!) we went to Starbucks for story time with Miss Maegan and my friend Ava was there! After story time we walked around the mall, did a little shopping, ran away from Santa and acted like goofy girls! I sure will miss Ava when she moves to the big preschool room this month!

Introducing Harry Nason Lipchak!

After a 9 month hiatus that seemed to coincide with Mommy's pregnancy, we're back and better than ever! And when I say we, I mean there is someone else that I share this blog with now...it's my little brother! Yep, I'm a big sister now!

Here is the first time I met Harry (who by the way is named after two of our great-grandfathers and not Harry Potter or Prince Harry...)!

Here is Harry looking at pictures of me on Daddy's iPhone when he was still in the hospital. I think he likes me!

And when Harry came home from the hospital, I jumped right into my role as Big Sister and changed his diaper! Mommy and Daddy are so lucky they have me!

Today my friend Griffin came over with his parents for a sleepover! It was pretty fun especially because I got to boss him around! I'm working on my sharing, but this weekend was a little tough for me. I did sit down and show Griffin how to make cupcakes though and he did a good job paying attention!

Then I invited him for a bath! And he helped me wash my hair! What a great friend!

The bonus was that we both slept through the night! That means we get to have another sleepover sometime! Maybe I'll be better about sharing by then!

Today we met Thomas for a morning playdate. We shared a meal at the Noodle Noggin Diner.

And we climbed up in the castle, too.

I brought Auntie Becky along and we took a cute photo together, too!

There was also a music class. I didn't really want to sit for the class...I wanted to keep playing. But every once in awhile I was interested...mostly when there were cool instruments involved. Especially drum sticks!!!

After our fun time at Noodle Noggin, we hit the grocery store. I drove the cart around while Mommy filled it up!

Felicity and Becky take on the Mall!

This morning we hit the mall! What a great place for a toddler to play! You can run, play, shop, and eat! I just LOVE the mall. Today I dragged along my partner in crime, Auntie Becky!

First we hit up the Disney Store! I immediately picked out a lion (Simba) and a rolling suitcase (from Little Einsteins) even though I've never seen either show or movie. I walked all around the store as I plotted my escape. Then I attempted to shoplift them both, but Mommy caught me before I made the alarm go off!

Now, no mall trip would be complete without playing on the floor pad/game thingy. Even Auntie Becky loved it!

We did hit up the Starbucks but they did not have my favorite snack anymore! What a bummer! So, we shopped some more. I think Auntie Becky has good taste, don't you?

Then I told Mommy that I wanted THAT doggy, but she said "No but maybe fish." So I kept saying "I need fish!" over and over again in the store! It was very funny!

We ended our mall outing with lunch in the food court to do a little people watching.

I was so wiped out that I took a 2.5 hour nap when I got home. Phew! What a day!

This morning I had chocolate chip/blueberry pancakes. Can you tell? Did you also know that I can eat as many pancakes as Mommy? Yummy!

After breakfast we hit Target and I did some shopping myself. I found a hat and purse in the dollar bins that I just had to have. And only mommy's sunglasses completed the look! I tried the smiley look...

then the serious one!

After shopping all morning, I took a short (non-existant?) nap and then decided to read some books by myself. Mommy snuck up on me in the library and I was sitting in my chair with my hat on reading my book out loud!

The Fun Arrived Today!

I was waiting by the door naked today. Mommy even took some pictures but I decided not to post those. Anyway, I was waiting for Auntie Becky, Grammy and Grampy to come over! And boy did we have fun all morning!

We did Ring-Around-the-Rosie and always ended up rolling around and giggling on the floor!

Grampy lifted me high in the air and I just kept yelling "UP", "DOWN" and "MORE" until he was too tired!

Then I rode my car around and gave Auntie lots of drive-by kisses!

And Grampy did his signature "Vroom", too! I finally figured out how to hold the "handlebars" but the funniest part was when I tried to Vroom myself. I just cracked everyone up!

Auntie Becky is staying all week and I'm very excited!!!

Today Katie Beth and her mommy came over for tea and they brought banana muffins! My favorite!!! So Katie Beth and I had a little mid-morning snack (well...I did and she watched and tried to steal my milk.)

Then, Mommy got the Bumbo out for Katie, but I sat in it instead and we all made her smile a lot.

Visit to Eleni's Pad

Today we went to visit Eleni because it was her Daddy's birthday and they were having cake and ice cream! Eleni and I played all night long! I tried out her horsey and I loved it!

We read books on her bed, too.

But the best part was the bath after dinner!

Mommy gave us both mohawks, too, and we made silly faces.

And, of course, all that fun tired me out and I fell asleep 5 minutes into the ride home.

Phew! Great times, as usual! I'm so lucky to have so many fabulous friends. Thanks for inviting us over!

Girls Day In!

To celebrate Valentine's Day, Daddy's friends came over with all their kids and we played all afternoon and into the night. We were all soooo good, too! The Daddies tried to get us to have a chicken fight. But we didn't get it.

Today I celebrated Valentine's Day a little early with lots of surprises! Mommy and I got dressed in our red clothes and she took me to school...which wouldn't normally be weird except that it was Friday! I went to deliver my Valentines to my friends and play a little with them since I was going to miss the class party that afternoon. Here I am showing Mommy how I sit like such a big girl at school.

I got to help make yummy cookies with Miss Beth!

Miss Redoika read us some special Valentine stories!

And I got to take home a bag full of Valentine's cards (and candy!) from all my friends and teachers!

And the last surprise of the day came when we went to pick up Auntie. Her doggy jumped in the car and I got to pet him. I LOVE LOVE LOVE animals. But Mommy says we are never getting one...so I'll just enjoy everyone else's pets until she gives in!

My friend Eleni let me borrow her Potty Train DVD. Two days later, I'm signing and yelling potty all day long. And then something crazy happened! I POOPED ON THE POTTY! And Mommy grabbed her camera to document this exciting milestone. I got a sticker, too! Go me!

A Winter Hike

Mommy and Daddy decided to take a family hike into the woods today. It went pretty well until we went off course and had to bushwack through 1 foot deep snow. Mommy did not like that and we had to go back to the car once we found the trail again because she was going to hurt Daddy for being too adventurous. Mommy is not adventurous.

We did however get some beautiful photos on our journey!

Girls Day Out!

Today my friend Kaylie (I call her KiKi) came over and she stayed all day! We had a very busy day! First we went to Michael's B-day party at Pump It Up! What a blast! Kaylie and I did lots of jumping and giggling.

Then all the parents attempted a group shot. You can see my friend Linnea was there, too!

We had pizza and cake for lunch and I sat next to my friend Solomon!

After all that fun, we headed home for some naps. When we woke up we had snack time before heading over to Linnea's and Solomon's for more play and dinner!

Kaylie and I took a bath over there and got into our pj's. Then we bundled up for the car ride. Here we are all snuggled into our seats. About 10 minutes after this picture we were both passed out cold!

Today was sooooo fun. It was like having a live-in best friend...or maybe even a twin sister! I hope Mommy kidnaps Kaylie again soon!

Today Mommy took me to meet her friends from graduate school. It took them making plans THREE TIMES before it happened! But we finally met and they brought a new playmate for me! His name is Nate and he is a super cutie!!!

I left my sunglasses in the car, so I borrowed Mommy's while I waited for my lunch.

After lunch we came home and Auntie Angie came over to play with me. We made LOTS of cupcakes!

Today was a busy day for the Lipchak/Sands house! During the morning we went to visit our friends Stacy and Joe. They made us yummy french toast and I got to play with their animals! They have an old kitty named Tiger, but he doesn't like to play that much (even though he is my favorite!). And they also have a new kitty named Monty! Mom captured this shot of me watching Monty eat his breakfast!

Then Stacy showed me this fun little stick/yarn thing and I just loved to swing it all around.

And I even tangled Monty up in it. Silly kitty! I better enjoy their kitties because Mommy is so allergic, we'll never have one.

Anyway, after my nap we went to see my friends Skylar and Brendan! I hadn't seen them in such a long time that Skylar is now 4 and Brendan is 1! We had a lot of fun playing in the boat. We didn't get a lot of pictures, and here I am clearly telling Mommy to stop it with the camera already!

Christmas Continues On!

Today we had a family get together with Daddy's family to celebrate Christmas! I always love spending time with my grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins and today was no exception! We ate some yummy food and got really silly. Uncle Dave is showing me a silly chicken! It took me awhile to get close to it...but eventually I did.

I also got a few presents, too, including this cute moose!

And then Mommy tried to get some pictures with Grandpa Mike and Mimi Maryann, but the only one that came out good was this one with Auntie Maggie.

What a fun afternoon with my family! Thanks for the presents and the laughs!

Mimi and Papa left yesterday and I was sad...but Auntie Becky decided to stay a little bit longer to cheer me up! We're still trying to get into the swing of taking pictures again, but today I got to go outside and play in the snow with Auntie Becky. I didn't last too long, mostly because I don't know how/like to walk in the snow...but I would follow Auntie Becky (I call her Bucky!) anywhere! She's leaving tomorrow and I will miss her a lot!

Mommy and Daddy Take Manhattan!

I thought I would let Mommy and Daddy use my blog to post some pictures from their weekend getaway. They stayed at a fancy hotel and saw three broadway shows (including seeing Katie, Holmes, John Lithgow and Diane Wiest in ALL MY SONS!) What a life, eh? They had a fabulous time but were glad to escape before the New Year's Eve celebration started. Here they are in Times Square.

But, perhaps the most exciting moment of their weekend happened when they went to see IN THE HEIGHTS (this year's Tony winner for Best Musical). Right as the curtain is about to go up..guess who walks in? The next Secretary of State and her husband! And she was this close!

And they sat 3 rows in front of my parents! It was very exciting, especially for Mommy!

So, all in all, the parents had fun and I enjoyed some special time with Mimi and Papa. But we all missed each other a lot and I hope I get to go on the next trip!

Clean up on Aisle Two!

You will never believe this! Mommy and Daddy went to NYC for the weekend and I got to have Mimi and Papa and Auntie Becky all to myself! This was very exciting! Here I am playing grocery store with Papa!

This weekend was awesome. We went shopping, to a play gym, and baked cookies, too! Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures because Mommy and Daddy took the camera with them! But, I tell you...it was good times!

Merry Christmas One and All!

After leaving out some milk, carrots and melba toast crackers (we didn't have cookies so we offered Santa something healthier), I went to bed and woke up to see that Santa did in fact leave me a few presents! I guess I was a good girl after all! Here I am playing with my new microwave. I got a lot of food themed items this year (including a cash register, a shopping cart and lots of food!).

Unlike most kids, I would open clothes and try them on immediately! I think the brown pants, pink vest, and yellow shoes really compliment my Christmas PJ's, don't you?

With all the excitement, I definitely needed some snuggle time with Daddy and my new peek-a-boo bear.

After a little rest, I was ready for some fun in the snow with all the guys! They were taking down trees around the yard and I was watching it all. Here I am with Uncle Tommy!

And of course, no family gathering would be complete without a little Guitar Hero!

Christmas was so fun. I loved spending time with all my grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins! I'll miss them when they go! I wish they could all stay here forever! Merry Christmas to all!

How to Make Cupcakes for Christmas!

Today is Christmas Eve and we had lots of visitors come to our house! I guess Mommy likes to be the hostess, eh? Auntie Angie and Catherine came over and they brought me a present. It was a cupcake kit!

Here are the 4 easy steps to cupcake baking!

Step One: Pour and mix the ingredients (i.e. milk)

Step Two: Bake them in the oven

Step Three: Frost them

Step Four: Eat!

Winter has arrived with a vengeance!

Sorry for the big gap in posts. We got a HUGE ice storm here in New England and it knocked out our power for a whole week! Lucky for me because I got to spend the weekend at my friend Thomas's house and then stay with my cousins for four days after that! I had so much fun, but I think Mommy and Daddy were glad to be back at our house! Anyway, once we got the power back and located our camera, we were home for one day before a big, giant three day snow storm arrived! So, Mommy bundled me up really good (it was 11 degrees outside) and Daddy brought me out to play!

I helped Daddy shovel the deck and around the driveway. That was fun!

One time I fell down face first in the snow. Not my favorite thing...

Then Daddy tried pulling me around in my sled and I did not like that either.

But, then Daddy jumped me all around the snow and I giggled a lot.

And then Mommy said it was time to come in and I cried. I hope it snows again soon!

Today was the 3rd Annual Christmas Party that we host for Mommy's college friends. That meant a lot of people came over to see me! I had some bonding time with Auntie Carolyn.

We all ate a ton of food!

And guess what? Mommy and Auntie Becky bought me some toys at the American Girl Place for my Bitty Baby, too!

Today was a blast! Mommy and Daddy woke me up this morning and we drove over to see Teagan and Peter. My cousin Teagan is a cheerleader and we went to her game this morning! I watched a bit of football and clapped when the cheerleaders performed.

I played a bit of football with Peter and Daddy. Although the kid who owned the football thought I had cooties. (Daddy heard him say "That baby's an idiot!" when I tried to eat the football!) It was pretty funny actually!

Here is me and Teagan. She is soooo pretty! Maybe I'll be a cheerleader someday like Teagan and Mommy!

Balls, Babies and Bellybuttons!

Friday is Daddy Day, as usual, but it was raining. So we hit up NN&B this afternoon. They have a new ball pit and let me tell you, I love balls! I love playing with balls, talking about balls, and calling every circle I see a ball...so this was pretty fun.

I also really got into playing with the babies today which was pretty cool because I'm mildly obsessed with bellybuttons and these babies all have them!Even though I'm not supposed to put my mouth on the toys, I just had to give my baby some wet kisses!

Today I brought my (boy)friend Thomas to Munchkinland. It was so romantic. We had drinks and apps at the Tiki Bar.

We made beautiful music together on the drums.

And we brought out babies for a stroll around Tiny Town.

You won't believe it, but I got to wear my bee costume AGAIN! That's right! Mommy's and Daddy's college friends had their annual Halloween party tonight. I took a late nap so that I was ready to stay up really late! I think my parents are secretly hoping I will sleep in tomorrow to adjust to the time change.

Today is Halloween so Mommy and Daddy took me to the mall for this thing they call Trick-or-Treating! Oh my was it SO MUCH FUN! I got to dress up in my bee costume again!

I was armed with my new pumpkin from Grandpa Mike and Mimi Maryann. At first Daddy helped me because I was shy, but it wasn't long before I was walking right up and getting candy from all the people at the stores!

There were lots of people there, including my friend Ruth who was dressed like a ladybug!

After all that work, I need to take a rest and it never takes much arm twisting to convince Daddy to take a snack break!

A bee's work is never done....until next time!

The 2nd Annual WPI Halloween Playdate!

Today I got together with my friends at Fiona's and Brandon's house for our Halloween playdate! Thanks to Mimi, I have Halloween clothes and a costume, too! At first we just played a lot! I got to do my best Ben Folds impression on the Maine organ.

Then our Mommies got us into our costumes. That's always fun. Brandon is a bear, Jenny is a chef, Fiona is a flower, and I'm a bee. Eleni was a lion, but she was a bit camera shy and Conor wanted no part of his costume today so I don't even know what he was supposed to be! This was the best picture we could get!

After playing for 2 hours and eating lunch we were all a little crazy. So the Mommies let us watch PBS for a little bit and look at how perfect we are! We all sat on the couch (evenly spaced, too!) and relaxed while the Mommies ate cake and yummy truffles that Conor's mommy made.

But the calm only lasted so long. Conor and I chased each other and then we were caught in the closet together. I hope no one finds out that we were playing Seven Minutes in Heaven!

I had so much fun! Thanks to the LaCamera's for hosting and giving us little treats, too! I can't wait until our Christmas Party!

Munchkins at Munchkinland

Today my friends Joe and Lula invited me to Munchkinland! Another indoor play place! And it was amazing. There was so much to do and it's a big wide open area so the mommies get to enjoy chatting with each other, too, instead of chasing us into all different rooms! It was a blast..we stayed there for two hours! Here Lula and I are riding the horsies! I can't wait to go again!

Today we woke up and had breakfast at the Inn. Then we checked out and walked about Historic Deerfield. To be quite honest, it was not very kid friendly at all. So while Daddy went on a tour, Mommy and I played outside in the cold! She told me about this game called Hide-n-Seek. So I hid while she counted but she found me right away.

I think I'm much better at counting, do you think?

Mini-Vacation with Mommy and Daddy

It was Mommy's break from school so Daddy took a few days off and we headed off to Deerfield, MA. The most popular stop, of course, is Yankee Candle! And boy was it a good time! There were big rocking chairs to hang out in while we waited for our table for lunch.

Then we went shopping! Mommy and Daddy didn't buy anything, but there was still so much to do! I got to drive a little yellow car and I just wanted to sit in it all day long!

The REAL Santa was there, too! I was pretty tentative about him...which is no surprise. But he told great stories! Unbelievable ones even!Then this guy who worked there came up to me to see if I wanted a balloon. He went away for awhile and came back with one and I LOVED it! And so did all the other kids around me...they were asking where I got it!

After our day out, we went back to our room and there was a GIANT bed. I thought for sure that we would all get to sleep in it, but alas, that was only for Mommy and Daddy. This shot was taken right before I bonked my head on the headboard and cried a lot.

I better get a good night's sleep! More fun to come tomorrow!

Daddy put me in my backpack (a hand-me-down from my friend, Sawyer) and then wrapped me up in an orange reflector vest to keep away the bullets.

Here's where Daddy hiked me to. It's called Rocky Pond. I think I'll take my hat off now.

If I stand right here they'll think I have a halo intead of hat head.

Snack break! But first we have to pretend to stare at the ground while Daddy takes a picture.

Two Peas in a Pod

My buddy Thomas came over to play today. Everything started out great. Our Mommies sang songs while we danced around. Here we are doing Ring-Around-The Rosie.

But things went downhill. I'm not really one who shares. I just don't know how to do that. Everything is "that mine!" even when it isn't. Like, here, I took Thomas's baby (Gay Baby Jimmy). It's clear that Thomas wanted his baby but I didn't give it to him.

But Thomas got me back...don't worry. Or he was trying to mount me. I'm not sure! I didn't like it either way!

Fall Family Fun at Tower Hill

Today was a special treat! It was just the three of us today and that's when I'm happiest. I love Mommy and Daddy the same and I want to be with them both all the time! When one of them is missing, I'm constantly asking the other one where he/she is! Anyway, today we all went to Tower Hill Botanic Garden. It's right in our town and it was a great place to spend a beautiful fall day! I ran around a lot, tried to get away from Mommy and Daddy, and plotted how I could get to the water in this fountain!

Daddy showed me a cool furry caterpillar...which is surprising since Daddy doesn't really like bugs.

And then Daddy got me to sit still for a minute while he snapped this one!

And finally, we went on a hayride! But I was more concerned with finding my belly button!

Hi. My name is Felicity and I'm addicted to sunglasses. I have a mild obsession with them. I wear them all the time. I make other people wear them and I even dress up my baby in them.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, on to my day. Mommy brought outside to explore out big backyard. She thought the bugs would be gone (they were not!) but we walked all around through the tall, wet grass.

Since my pants were wet up to the knees, I decided that someone needed to mow this lawn! So I took things in my own hands and got the job done! I even mowed the driveway!

We ended the day by meeting Jackie for dinner. We haven't seen her since May so there was a lot of catching up to do! It was fabulous! See you again soon!

Daddy took me mountain climbing today. Thanks to Sawyer, I have a great hand-me-down backpack to ride in. When we got to the top, we could see all the big buildings in Boston even though it was cloudy out!

Another man and woman were hugging here where we're standing, but Daddy got up the courage to ask them to take our picture. All the ones Daddy took had part of our heads cut off.

Then we had a picnic at the top of the ski lift. Daddy tells me that people ride up on it and get off at the top when there's snow on the ground. How do they get back down??

Daddy didn't totally cut off our heads on this picture. Nice work, Daddy. And thanks for all the raisins!

After singing lots of songs on the way back down, we stopped in Sterling to visit Nanny.

Daddy tried to drag me around in that cart first, but I only wanted Nanny to do it, so I cried until they figured out my preference. Daddy day is great, but especially when it ends with some Nanny time!

Sounds harsh, right? Let me tell you a story. In September of 2001, my parents went to Gillette Stadium. They were there at the game when Drew Bledsoe got hurt and Brady came in. Scary, but we know that story all worked out in the end. Fast forward to today. Here I am ready in my my outfit to cheer on my Patriots during their first game of the season. My parents got ticket from Auntie Carolyn so Grampy, Grammy and Auntie Becky came over to hang out with me. Bye, Bye Mommy and Daddy!

I sure hoped the Pats scored a few of these today!

And thankfully, they scored enough. But my parents' curse worked it's evil magic again and Tom Brady is not only hurt...he's out for the season!!! Heres hoping that Matt Cassel will go on to the win the superbowl like Tom Brady did 7 years ago!

Party in Rhode Island

Today the ladies and I hit up Conor's house for a BBQ. I say ladies because there were 8 kids. 7 girls and Conor! I'm not sure if he's lucky or not. Our mom's are busy planning for their 10-year college reunion (or that's the excuse they use to get together all the time!) Anyway, down to the business. Craig told me what was in beer that made it taste so good.

I don't have a lot of pictures of my friends...but here is one of me with Kaylie and Eleni. It looks like Eleni is kicking her. We all beat up on each other today. Well, I'm the baby of the group and everyone really does beat up on me. But I think I got one hit in.

I did a little work on Conor's laptop. Daddy made sure I didn't chat with any older boys.

We did have a few moments of clear weather, so I played soccer with Daddy outside.

And fianlly, I got a moment alone with Conor to work my girl magic on him. I mean, come on, who wouldn't? Look at those curls!!!

First, I went to a BBQ at Nanny's friends house. There were lots of big kids there and they loved playing with me (and I even stopped to smile at the camera!)

Then, we went to Wiley's house. And surprise, surprise we got naked and had a fun bath!

And then we got into our pj's and snuggled on the couch with our matching duckies!
